Current Collections

The active collection of objects, photographs, films, paintings and other materials that can enlighten us on the past and present history of Copenhagen is vital to the Museum of Copenhagen. The museum is responsible for contemporary collection activities in the municipalities of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. In this light, special focus is placed on the collection of objects that on the one hand can provide information on Copenhagen as an international metropolis, and on the other hand provide information regarding its role as the capital city of Denmark.
