As the new part of the metro, the cityring, are build, the archaeologist from Museum of Copenhagen follow the excavations around town

Assistens Kirkegård

Behind the stately yellow wall that runs along Nørrebrogade, lies the harmonious Assistens Kirkegård. Here, in the graveyard’s north-eastern corner, the Museum of Copenhagen has been carrying out an archaeological investigation from December 2009 till January 2011.

Kongens Nytorv

The archaeologists from Museum of Copenhagen have explored the history under Kongens Nytov. Excavations from Januar 2010 till September 2011 and again from Januar 2012 till June 2012.

Rådhuspladsen

Rådhuspladsen is the busiest square in Denmark from a traffic viewpoint, and yet the traces of an entirely different Copenhagen are hidden under its paving. At present, archaeologists are bringing the old narratives to light. Excavations from February 2011 till July 2012.
